1. Who sends these messages

Text messages come from ALEX, operated by Alexander Tiffany Southwest, LLC (Georgetown, Texas), from +1 (737) 253-2539.

2. What we send

• ALEX Institute: class reminders, scheduling notes and application status for applicants, students, mentors and speakers.
• Verification codes: one-time passcodes to confirm you hold the phone number you gave us.
• Agent notifications: new-lead alerts to ALEX's own licensed agents.

We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

3. How you opt in

You opt in by ticking the unchecked Text message box on a form at alex-companies.com, such as the ALEX Institute application. We record when you agreed and the version of the form. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of applying, enrolling or buying anything.

4. Frequency, cost and how to stop

• Message frequency varies with your activity, such as how many classes you attend.
• Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
• Reply STOP (or CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE) to stop. You will receive one confirmation and no further messages. Reply START to resubscribe.
• Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected].
• Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. Privacy of your mobile number

If you opt in to text messages from ALEX, we use your mobile number only to send the messages you agreed to, such as class reminders, scheduling notes, verification codes and service notices.

We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers or text-messaging opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party, except the service providers that deliver our messages (Vonage and Twilio).

A withdrawal of consent is kept alongside the original permission, so we can always show what you agreed to and when you stopped.

6. Changes and contact

Updates will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
